Using a certified company for the PRODUCTION and INSTALLATION of fire-resistant framing systems is a technical, legal, and strategic decision. It ensures compliance with current legislation, clear responsibility for the final product, effective protection of people and assets, and increased value of the real estate asset.
It is essential to clearly distinguish between a CERTIFIED COMPANY FOR PRODUCTION AND INSTALLATION of fire-resistant doors and windows and a COMPANY ONLY REGISTERED WITH ANEPC.
Certified fire-resistant framing requires testing, system approval, and installation in accordance with technical specifications. Registration with the National Authority for Emergency and Civil Protection (ANEPC - Portugal) is institutional; certification is technical.
Only companies with CPR certification, a notified body, and an implemented production control system can legally assume responsibility for the performance of the installed fire-resistant framing system.
This is a fundamental point for Architects, Contractors, and Developers: only a company certified for this purpose can assume technical and legal responsibility for the final product, i.e., the installed fire-resistant system.
