Certified Fire-Resistant Framing Systems

METALLIK obtains official certification for the production and installation of fire-resistant framing systems with CE marking, reinforcing fire safety in buildings.
After several years of experience in the manufacturing and installation of aluminium and steel framing systems, METALLIK had its qualification for the production and installation of FIRE-RESISTANT FRAMING SYSTEMS formally recognized in 05/2023, becoming a certified company for the Production and Installation of external pedestrian doors and windows with fire resistance and/or smoke control characteristics, in accordance with standards NP EN 14351-1:2006+A2:2016 and EN 16034:2014 – certification obtained through SGS and CS (Notified Body No. 1029, which issued the certificate of constancy of performance No. 1029-CPR-PT23/08726).
This certification under the Construction Products Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011 (CPR) proves that METALLIK is legally authorized to PRODUCE and INSTALL fire-resistant systems with CE marking, assuming direct technical responsibility for the performance of the final product installed on site.
Despite the regulatory gap regarding interior applications, METALLIK has maintained the same technical standards and strict production controls for fire-resistant windows with CE marking for indoor use, based on its extensive experience in the metalworking sector.
Within the scope of metal construction, METALLIK develops passive fire protection solutions (fire-resistant systems) for large industrial projects and public and private buildings, integrating solutions for residential, industrial, tourism, leisure, education, and healthcare sectors.
We design, manufacture, and install fire-protected structures, technical glazed façades, and compartmentation elements, using certified systems from leading European manufacturers such as Reynaers Aluminium, Schüco (aluminium), and Forster, Jansen (steel), ensuring that each installed solution corresponds to a system previously tested according to EN 1364, EN 1634, and EN 13501 standards.
These systems allow fire resistance classifications of 30, 60, 90, and 120 minutes, ensuring integrity (E), thermal insulation (I), radiation reduction (W), and smoke control (Sa / S200), in full compliance with Fire Safety in Buildings (SCIE) requirements.
In emergency situations where a building is on fire, the effectiveness of fire protection systems is crucial to safeguard evacuation routes. This effectiveness depends directly on strict compliance with mandatory standards and correct installation, which can only be ensured by certified and audited companies.
